The Lingfeng Summer Research School

The Lingfeng Summer Research School was established in 2007 and is a student exchange program organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Lund University (Sweden) and College of the Environment and Ecology, Xiamen University (China). Each summer, students from Lund University and Xiamen University jointly form research groups of 3 to 4 members to conduct 4 weeks research on a specific topic advised by professors from Xiamen University.
The purpose of this program is to provide research training opportunities for students to gain research experience on environmental protection and research. Except for laboratory research works, the program will provide lectures on environmental science, field trips as well as cultural study. Students will need to submit a report and give an oral presentation at the end of the program.
